When we made the breakthrough in 1976, we fully expected the same treatment that Darwin did not expect, so we kept it confidential. However, we had to establish precedence, so we published the advance in code (see above). The seminars ran for ten years, but we never disclosed “Theory C”.

You have to remember that we did not know what we were up against, but only expected it. Only a paranoid would have predicted what we experienced later on. However, there is full documentary evidence of our suspicions. Having given up trying to get past peer review, we went downmarket to “Wireless World”, now called “Electronics World”. Our first CDW “profane” articles were published under the names of the three authors CDW. However, when we later approached the “sacred” Maxwell’s Equations, the articles and books are limited to one author, Ivor Catt. Should the likely attacks be sufficiently damaging, Davidson and Walton would survive untarnished to carry on the our work and possibly still publish and lecture.
