Dr. John Roche.

Dr. John Roche has in the past bravely shown willingness to face ostracism, as when he went after Opus Dei, of which he was a disillusioned member, when it was working to fast track its founder to sainthood. This is why his protection of an Establishment expert in electromagnetic theory is so significant.

I have pointed out that it is not only the entrenched expert whose reputation, career, promotion, salary and pension require that no major scientific advance occur within their field of expertise, who will cooperate to block major scientific advance. The “guardians of the Faith”, of the dogma, are supported by virtually everyone against him who brings new, or tries to bring news, of a paradigm change.

Dr.Roche tells me that his good friend is an expert in electromagnetic theory, working at the Clarendon. This expert produced six pages in response to The Catt Question . Since this is the only answer that was not made under duress, the other four having been chosen by their bosses and told to write to me, the Anonymous case is very important. (The only other “answer” was by Nobel Prize Winner Professor Brian Josephson .) Is it important that any expert who answers a question on fundamentals of his speciality remain anonymous? What is being protected, Anonymous or science? It cannot be both.
