Wakefield 3 and 4.

Wakefield 3. One end of the cable shorted to ground, the other end open circuit.

Wakefield 4. Both cable ends shorted to ground. The mid point then alternates between +8v and -8v.

This one is easy to understand, within the heretical framework that a charged capacitor does not have a stationary electric field, but half its energy is travelling to the right and half to the left.. Energy travelling to the right sees the short and inverts, returning to the mid point at the same instant as the energy initially travelling to the left sees its short and returns.
So the mid point switches from +8v to -8v, not lingering at 0v as in W3. The heretical W3 results were predicted by Professor Yakovlev. http://www.ivorcatt.co.uk/x85jalex1.pdf ; http://www.ivorcatt.co.uk/x85jalex1.pdf ; http://www.ivorcatt.co.uk/x85qalex0.htm
