Forgetting the last century.

The IEEE EMC society seem to still think crosstalk between parallel conductors is a combination of mutual capacitance and mutual inductance.

Microwave engineers knew this was not true, and knew about the two modes, even mode and odd mode, (B M Oliver, Proc.IRE, November 1954)  when in 1964 I came on the scene and further discovered the two velocities.

Please forward to the relevant experts of today that I published on this in the IEEE half a century ago, in an exhaustive 20pp article. http://www.ivorcatt.co.uk/x147.pdf
