Among the books that invariably I include, and ranks high in the list of those who - among many thousands beds - it's worth it just to read, ranks 'The misunderstood genius', written by Federico Di Trocchio.

Lecturer (University of Lecce - before the Sapienza - and how can we forget to connect ideas on campus Salento also taught the great Ennio Bonea), intellectual of great race, Di Trocchio died - and I learn only today - September 3, 2013 in Rome.

I come back to talk about it in greater detail, underlining the truly international caliber (to give just one example, his figure is dotted on Wikipedia in the German edition).

Tra i libri che invariabilmente includo, e ai primi posti, nell’elenco di quelli che – tra le molte migliaia letti – è valsa la pena appunto di leggere, si colloca ‘Il genio incompreso’, scritto da Federico Di Trocchio.

Docente (all’Università di Lecce – prima che alla Sapienza – e come non ricordare per collegamento di idee che nell’ateneo salentino insegnò anche l’ottimo Ennio Bonea), intellettuale di gran razza, Di Trocchio è morto – e lo apprendo solo oggi – a Roma il 3 settembre 2013.

Tornerò a parlarne più diffusamente sottolineandone la caratura davvero internazionale (per fare solo un esempio, la sua figura è tratteggiata su Wikipedia nell’edizione tedesca).
